SILVER STORIES – Digital Storytelling with seniors and health professionals

Teaching healthcare professionals who work with the elderly to produce digital stories that help keep their memories alive and thus reinforce their dignity as human beings were the goals of the European project Silver Stories (Leonardo Da Vinci) in which Media Shots collaborated with organizations from the United Kingdom, Finland, Denmark, Slovenia, and Romania. In this project, the perspectives of these patients on therapeutic experiences and their lives were “captured,” helping the professionals who care for them better understand the implications of their work.
