“Pátio das Memórias” of the alentejo Coast – a collection of stories and testimonies

“Pátio das Memórias” (Courtyard of Memories) is a cultural and educational project.

It promotes community involvement in the collection, study, and dissemination of memories of everyday life on the Alentejo coast, from the late 19th century onwards, as well as the promotion of intangible cultural heritage.

The project has a physical space located in Sines, in a house founded in the 19th century by a local farmer, and features a museum exhibition that is open to the public.

Media Shots was responsible for the online dimension of the project, its website, which is intended to facilitate the dissemination of part of its collection, in digital format, to researchers, schools, tourists and the general public.
