About This Project

To spark interest, attention, and motivation among the ‘digital generation’ that has already entered the classrooms was the goal of Media Shots’ collaboration with AlmadaForma Training Center, Sintra Teachers’ Association, and Oeiras Training Center.

During this collaboration, educators from various educational levels were trained in using digital stories for pedagogical purposes. Participants explored this multimedia tool to creatively illustrate curricula, manage different learning styles, facilitate the organization and structuring of ideas, promote sharing of opinions and critical and reflective thinking, and also developed projects to work with students in their schools later on.

TESTIMONIALS

“Storytelling has gained a privileged place and a new lease of life in the agenda of this Training Center in partnership with Media Shots. The results, the production of short videos, highlighted the creative potential of this approach to express and think about education and the role of being a teacher. It makes perfect sense!

Adelaide Paredes, Director of the Training Center, AlmadaForma

“After 37 years of working as a teacher,  it’s good to find these pleasant thematic and communicational surprises that enrich me to do my job better. I hope your serene and dedicated way of working multiplies across many training groups.

Augusto Cebola, Teacher at Santa Maria Secondary School
